I can’t take the credit for the audio. I work at a recording studio in NJ and my friend who is the lead guitar player of the ugly club is one of the engineers at the studio. tho i went to school as well to be a recording engineer i found myself obsessed with video.
as for what the blog is for? thats a great question. part of me wants this to help bring back a sense of community that NJ lost a while back when the scene started to die out here. there are still many talented, independently minded, original artists here and they are struggling to find an audience.
also I’m looking for a place to showcase work that i do outside of what i do at the studio. and to share music that i like both local and established.

Music1nFocus is a video and photography production company founded by myself Seiichi Daimo. I started this to promote my own music through other media and saw a need for it by other local musicians as well. It is a legitimate production company, i work freelance and as the head videographer/editor at Soundwaves Recording Studio in Union NJ.
